My analysis of the Inbetweeners.

The Inbetweeners

I believe the Inbetweeners is aimed for people aged between 16-24. I believe that the show is aimed for this age range because, viewers within this age range will be able to relate to the characters within the show, however the show would be unsuitable for people under this age range as the show contains strong language and sexual scenes. Although people above this age range may find the content less humorous as they may not have been previously subject to such content. I believe the show is relatable to the use and gratification of personal identity, as teenagers viewing the show may be able to relate themselves to the characters as an audience, as the characters within the show are going through everyday school life, something of which the audience also goes through.

Purpose
The producers of the show construct the series so that a whole term of school-life is fitted into one series. This means that more entertaining moments will be fitted into the episodes. This therefore makes the show more entertaining as the viewer does not see any of the less-entertaining content, but instead only sees entertaining content, making the show more enjoyable for the viewer.
